Balloon Syndrome

Totally deflated....... for all those that think Im neurotic , overprotective or totally insane when It comes to asking to stay away if you are ill ......tonight has proven to me that as most average kids shake of a cold etc after a week with no ill effects Travis has lost 1lb due to being unwell with the cold he took 7 months to gain that pound 7 whole months and 2 weeks to lose it :( .......the impending hospital admission for his NG tube in the new year hurts my heart but this confirms to me he needed it YESTERDAY

Wow Wellness

So we have had a full week of wellness that is no viruses thats probably because we havent gone out and very few people have come in (unless they are well) the past 2 days have been relaxed :) ...... Jaydon got his ipod today its amazing how such a small electronic device can expand his language and help with his fine motor skills . He has been saying what sounds like buyit for a few days totally puzzled and not having a clue what it was tonight the penny dropped when a parrot was on his app buyit is parrot don tells me they were watching something on tv the other day with a parrot in it so tv is a good thing its educational :) ...... Jaydon continues to sound awful when asleep and trying to catch his cough on video is so hard......Travis has gained 6 oz of the 1lb he lost he is continuing to complain of leg pain especially at night when getting into bed .....today he got a new sleepsuit in the post and he was so scared of it hide behind the chair and clenched his fists not sure where the phobia of new clothing has come from is it sensory related??? The sleepsuit will now be washed and dried without ever have been worn and join his angry birds top and two new pj sets from xmas on his drawers where he can see them for a month before we retry him to see if he will wear it :( we spoke about the upcoming hospital stay for his tube hes nervous bless him but told him when hes bigger it will be summer and he can play and run about better will take him for his offical weight at clinic tomorrow
